Driving Safely while injured or disabled

As an Occupational Therapist, my aim is to provide  an individual with the license conditions that best suit their ability level on road.

To do this the standard required tests are administered as required by Vic Roads for their registered Occupational Therapists– co-ordination, sensation, vision, strength, range of movement and cognition. In addition C.H.C  aims to meet the persons on road needs by assessing them in  suitable environment.

The Driver Reaction Tester, at Creative HealthConsultancy, adds an extra dimension to the  off road; in the case of  conditions that change over time or of significant impairment, this test, in conjunction with other test outcomes, provides a standard , reliable measure by which the OT can place recommendations or conditions on speed of travel .
